FAQ
- 01First, we need to submit your application to our insurance company to add you to our policy. If there are no accidents or other issues, this takes about one hour. Once you are approved, you will be able to select a vehcile to rent and sign the rental contract, this can take up to 2 hour once you are assigned to a rental agent. Our inventory is constantly influx with vehicles coming back and vehicles going out. Vehicles are rented on a first come first serve basis. Please ask your Rental Agent for an approximate time frame for availability of the vehicle you are interested in.

- 031. To be approved by insurance you must be 21 or older to rent a TLC plated car and 25 or older to rent a regular plated car. 2. Maximum age of 64. Due to our insurance company regulations. 3. A Valid Driver’s License from NY, NJ or CT. Driver's license must be at least two (2) years old. 4. TLC/Hack License. A receipt is NOT acceptable. You must have the actual physical license in your possession.

- 06Payment on TLC rental contracts are due every Monday. Your next payment will typically be due on the Monday following the day you pick up the vehicle. The exact date will be provided to you by your Rental Agent. However, it is important to remember that you will only pay rent for the days you rent the vehicle. Regular plated rentals are due on the same day of the week you picked up the car.

- 08You are responsible for paying for all tickets, summons or citations issued to the vehicle while it is being rented to you. This includes, but is not limited to, parking tickets, EZ Pass violations and red light camera tickets. Failing to pay will incur additional $25 processing fee charged to your account.

- 181. Speeding tickets in excess of 19 MPH over the posted limit 2. DUI’s or DWI’s 3. More than 10 points on your Driver’s License 4. Hit and Run accidents 5. More than three (3) accidents 6.
